We are now 10 days into the #21DayPropertyChallenge and today we are going to be looking at networking and building a team, and more specifically, virtual networking on the Property Forum.
We previously looked at the road map that we have been following for Property Investors to reach success. We know that this is not a journey that you can travel alone. The stronger your team is, the faster you will be able to achieve your goals.
We created The Property Collab as a place where investors can meet, network and collaborate on deals, so that we can all reach our goals faster, together. In light of the situation that South Africa, and the world, is facing, we created an online forum for investors to meet, discuss opportunities and even post deals that they need help with.
This is a discussion forum that is available to interact with the community. We do enjoy hosting live events where we can meet in person, but unfortunately, this is not possible. We can not stop moving forward, so we have moved networking to a virtual platform.
There are many stumbling blocks that property investors will face on their journey to success and The Property Collab has some experience in this area. Not only that, but the community in whole has experience. We draw on this experience every day when we face adversity.
It may seem like a trivial problem to you, but there are many others out there are probably going through the same issues that you are facing. We believe, and encourage interaction with the community.
- Do you have any pressing issues that you are facing?
- Are you trying to get your first deal?
- Maybe you are trying to get your 10th deal?
- Don’t know where to start?
- Need to raise finance for a deal?
- Have a deal that you are trying to sell?
- Not sure what the correct legal fees are that you should be paying?
- Tenant defaulting?
These are some of the issues that property investors go through every day. Thankfully there are people that will have been through these issues already and can help you out with them.
This is the power of the community.
This is a short overview of how the forum works.
When you enter the forum, you will be required to sign in (or sign up) in order to post. We have made it very easy to do this using either your Google account or your Facebook account. Not comfortable to use either? There is also a manual registration under the User Status section.
Once you enter the forum, you will see that several different categories are available:
- New Members
- Beginners Discussion
There have been posts made by the community in some of the categories. You can enter any of the categories and then scroll to the bottom and create a new topic in that category.
Or you can also help the community out by clicking on a topic that is already there and replying to it.
For today’s challenge, we have a very quick and easy task to complete.
Head over to the forum and post a comment in there. If you have a pressing issue that you need help with, ask the community the question and hopefully, we will be able to help you.
If you don’t have any issues that you’d like to discuss, head over to the New Members section and say “Hi” and let us know where you are in your property journey.
This is not only going to help you out, but it will also encourage the community to grow and help out. We encourage you to partake in today’s challenge to help grow the community.
